Question 11 of 10
Both sexes misjudge what the other finds physically attractive. Which way does the error run?
Both sexes believe the other's range is far narrower than it is.
Women overestimate the thinness men prefer; men overestimate the muscularity women prefer. The size of the misperception tracks dissatisfaction with one’s own appearance. The finding is the width of the range — there is no target value here and this book does not supply one.
